Tips and Strategy
Real Time Swing
It's best to take the Lessons for all of the swing types
first before attempting to master Real Time Swing. After using
all the other swing types, use RTS in Amateur mode. This will
help you learn the basics of aiming and how much
backswing to use on all shots (as indicated by a small 'tick'
on the power meter below your player, suggesting the proper
amount of backswing).
While playing in Amateur mode,
make note of amount of backswing used for various putting and
chipping distances. These will be accurate and useful when you
play at higher skill levels, like Professional and Elite.
You should not be too concerned with how quickly you move
your mouse forward once you've completed your backswing. It's
not necessary to thrust your mouse forward quickly and with a
lot of speed. It is more important that the transition from
moving your mouse backward to forward is smooth. You don't
have to move your mouse forward a great distance; just an inch
or two will do.
Don't leave your golfer in any one position of your RTS
very long. For example, once you've reached as far back as you
want on your back swing, immediately move on to swinging the
club head at the ball. Leaving your golfer sitting at the top
of his or her back swing for very long will result in a poor
shot.
